Our Services

Independent Slitters Limited has the ability to off load general steel coils up to 25 tonnes and aluminium up to 10 tonnes, or 75” (1905mm) diameter.

Our production facilities include both wide and narrow coil slitting lines capable of delivering a wide range of coil widths, from a diverse range of specialist materials.

Our equipment incorporates a “shim-less system” enabling us to work to tight tolerances achieving the highest quality edge trim.

Ongoing investment in a tension pit allows cut strips to travel freely through the tension pad ensuring recoiled stock has straight walls and tight laps.

  16. View Banded coils are palletised prior to storage and despatch
  17. View After banding material is transported for packing and storage awaiting despatch
  18. View Final inspection confirms dimensional accuracy
  19. View Final inspection confirms surface finish and edge condition
  20. View Coils are stored in the despatch bay awaiting customer collection
